In 2025 I started creating social media content for a much loved local Indian restaurant. They send me photo’s of their food when they have something worth sharing and I write the captions, shape the voice and post it all to their Instagram.
This has been a voluntary project. I know the owner well and it was a chance to support a company I worked for for many years whilst building experience writing for brands online. It’s helped me develop a friendly, consistent tone of voice that matches their warm, family-run atmosphere.
What I Did:
Wrote all Instagram captions
Chose hashtags and emojis to match the tone
Scheduled and posted on Instagram
Maintained a consistent, inviting voice
Highlighted key selling points: dishes to match the weather, specific wines that are best sellers at Margao, opening times, how they can order or book with Margao
